Donate    Salvage

There are many ways that people can support the work of Freedom Social Projects and a few examples are listed below.

Food Donations

Every week we go through large quantities of food as we prepare and serve free meals to the homeless and vulnerable people in our community. An active way to support us is by donating food which is either used to prepare the daily meal or given away in a food parcel.

Examples of the most useful food items are:

  • Tea Bags
  • Coffee
  • Sugar

(In a normal week we go through approx 500 grams of Coffee and 5 kg of sugar)

  • Any excess garden produce of fresh fruit and vegetables.
  • Tinned produce including:
    • Soup (tomato, chicken or vegetable)
    • Fruit (All varieties of tinned fruit)
    • Rice Pudding
    • Tomatoes
    • Baked Beans
    • Spaghetti
    • Tinned meat or fish
  • Cupboard items including:
    • Rice
    • Pasta
    • Biscuits
    • Baking ingredients
    • Jam
    • Jars or packet of cooking sauces
    • Custard pre made or powder

Keeping the clothes store well stocked is a constant challenge. We are always in need of good quality male and female clothing. Donating unwanted items to Freedom Social Projects is a great option as this allows us to give away what we can to those in need, recycle appropriate items through Freedom Salvage or even sell the best quality items to raise money for the project.

Please make Freedom your first choice for all your unwanted clothing!

Spread the Word

Please feel free to talk to family, friends or colleagues about the work of Freedom Social Projects. We want to increase public awareness of the needs that exist in our community and also raise the profile of our work. Often the best way that this is achieved is through people talking or spreading the word to others.
